CREATIVE MUSIC TEACHING SINCE 2014

Masterclasses

For singers, songwriters and instrumentalists

Vermont / Bentleigh (Melbourne VIC)
Online worldwide

Singing | Guitar | Ukulele | Double Bass

plus songwriting, composition and music theory

Focused, one-off lessons designed to give you clarity, fresh ideas and practical tools — without the commitment of weekly lessons.

About masterclasses with me

I created these one-on-one masterclasses to offer a space for musicians who don’t need weekly lessons but want focused, expert guidance on a specific challenge or area they’re eager to explore.

Whether it’s tackling a tricky piece, diving deeper into music theory, or sparking new creative ideas, these lessons offer tailored guidance and practical strategies — without an ongoing commitment.

Each lesson is shaped around your goals, with clear next steps to keep you moving forward with confidence and inspiration.

What you can study

Lessons are taught one-on-one and are suitable for absolute beginner - advance students. I specialise in teaching:

Core instrument and vocal lessons

Lessons for musicians exploring additional skills

Songwriting, music theory & creative development

Who masterclasses are for

Best suited to intermediate and advanced students

You don’t need to be an expert — just comfortable working independently between lessons. If you’re feeling stuck, ready for change, or needing insight on a specific challenge, a masterclass is ideal.

For beginners

If you're just getting started, I recommend ongoing lessons to help build strong technique and stay on track. You can always book a masterclass later as your confidence grows.

How masterclasses work

1. Pre-lesson preparation (30 mins)

After booking, you’ll complete a short lesson brief describing what you want help with. You can also submit recordings, scores, videos or lyrics. I review all your material in advance to prepare tailored feedback, exercises, and resources.

2. One-on-one lesson (90 mins)

Held either in-person or on Zoom. We’ll explore your material in depth, workshop solutions together, and build a plan for your next phase of practice or writing.

3. Optional follow-up sessions

You can book a follow-up masterclass whenever you need — weekly, monthly or just once in a while.

I ALWAYS love my lessons with Erica. Every lesson she peels back new layers of learning and ah-ha moments for my growth in learning the ukulele and singing.

About me

Bachelor of Music (Honours) - Victorian College of the Arts

I’ve been teaching since 2014, working with everyone from beginners to experienced performers. I love helping students grow in confidence and musicianship — whether that means improving your technique, writing your own songs, recording, picking up an instrument, or learning the music theory that helps you collaborate more fully.

Practice Space podcast

Practice Space is my free video podcast for musicians and music students.

Each episode offers practical tips, thoughtful insights, and guided meditations to help you approach your instrument with joy, curiosity, and confidence. Overcome procrastination, stay curious, and bring more creativity into your daily practice.

Designed like a meditation app, the videos invite you to settle in for a few minutes of gentle chat and a guided meditation — then begin your practice.

I encourage my students to use the podcast for ongoing motivation and to maintain our connection beyond scheduled lessons.

You can browse or search the full Practice Space archives anytime to find episodes that match your current practice goals or mood.
